Air Silk Road International Cooperation Alliance(ASRICA)
Initiated by the organizing committee of the first Air Silk Road International Forum, and actively supported by representative enterprises, institutions, and social organizations in various aviation fields, the Air Silk Road International Cooperation Alliance (ASRICA) was officially launched on May 31, 2019, during the first Air Silk Road International Forum held in Beijing. ASRICA is the primary host of the forum and will remain involved in organizing future events. The alliance adheres to the principles and policies of the Party and the country, complies with the Constitution and laws, and guided by the “Belt and Road” Initiative, it upholds the principles of “peace and cooperation, openness and inclusiveness, mutual learning and mutual benefits,” while emphasizing industry characteristics and aligning with the needs of enterprises. The alliance is led by its member institutions, focuses on key countries and industries, integrates resources both within the industry and beyond, leverages collective advantages, and establishes internal communication and coordination mechanisms within the industry for “going global.” Externally, it fosters bilateral and multilateral cooperation mechanisms with key countries and regions and builds a market cooperation network with third parties. The alliance promotes multi-level, multi-channel industry coordination and corporate cooperation, facilitates policy communication, information sharing, capital flow, and industrial collaboration, and drives the healthy and sustainable international cooperation and development of the Air Silk Road industry.
ASRICA has provided a one-stop solution for international cooperation in the aviation economy, thus contributing to the comprehensive advancement of the “Air Silk Road” development goals.
Alliance Vision
The alliance aims to become the first consortium in China’s aviation economy sector intrinsically designed for international capacity cooperation,, leading domestic airport industries with competitive advantages to engage in international collaboration, fostering a new pattern of mutually reinforcing development between domestic and international industries, and thus driving the high-quality development of the “Air Silk Road.”
Alliance Operating Model
In accordance with national requirements for the management of associations, and drawing on the operational management experience of international industry organizations, the alliance adheres to the principle of “extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits.” A full-time team has been established to provide professional services and empower member institutions with industry resources through targeted delegation., thus effectively promoting international cooperation under the “Belt and Road” Initiative. The day-to-day operations of the alliance are managed by the Beijing International Aerotropolis Technology Research Institute, the Secretary-General Institution of the Air Silk Road International Forum Organizing Committee.
