To thoroughly implement the spirit of guidance from President Xi Jinping's important instructions on advancing high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative and to continuously promote international cooperation in the aviation sector, the 7th International Cooperation Summit on the ‘Air Silk Road’ will be held under the theme ‘Forging New Hubs for the Air Silk Road, Creating New Heights for Western China's Opening-up’. The summit will gather over 300 distinguished guests,including representatives from international organizations, foreign dignitaries, diplomatic missions in China, Chinese ministries and commissions, major domestic and international airlines, leading airports worldwide, airport economic zones, and financial institutions. These participants will contribute insights to the development of the Air Silk Road.
 
This summit will delve into key topics including the Air Silk Road's role in establishing new open patterns in Northwest China,aviation carbon reduction and smart civil aviation development, and global insights on developing low-altitude economic growth. Multiple industry reports and achievements will be released, including the ‘Outstanding Service Demonstration Cases for Air Silk Road Construction 2025’ and the ‘ China Airport Economic Zone Development Index 2025’. Parallel events include the ‘Ambassadors' Roundtable Dialogue on the Air Silk Road’, the ‘2nd National Forum on Industry-Education Integration for the Low-Altitude Economy Development’, and ‘Air Silk Road Night 2025’. The summit aims to establish a high-level, multi-dimensional international engagement platform for the Air Silk Road, stimulate cooperation momentum, comprehensively fuel the high-quality development of the Air Silk Road and support Western China in becoming a new,globally oriented hub for openness.
 
Co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the Beijing Municipal People's Government, the China International Fair for Trade in Services（CIFTIS） is the world's sole national-level, international, and comprehensive service trade platform approved by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council. The International Cooperation Summit on the "Air Silk Road" has been successfully held for six consecutive years (from 2019 to 2024) as a regular CIFTIS forum focusing on the aviation industry and the Belt and Road Initiative, solidifying its status as an institutionalized branded forum under the CIFTIS framework.
